Does the program only cover federal contracts?

The full scope: federal, state, local, education, subcontracting, and even private-sector procurement.

No. The opportunity database and registration support cover the federal level plus SLED — state, county, city, and town governments, and education buyers like school districts, community colleges, and universities. Many commercial tools only surface federal solicitations, but much of the real opportunity sits at the state and local level, where contracts are often less complicated and competition is thinner.

Beyond direct government work, the platform also opens adjacent channels:

  • Subcontracting: members can register as subcontractors with large prime contractors, who are routinely required to subcontract portions of their government awards.

  • Private-sector procurement: some large corporations and marketplaces run purchasing through the same kinds of vendor and RFP systems, and the program has access to those as well.

  • Grants and funding: the opportunity system surfaces grant opportunities alongside contracts, and workshops cover federal and SBA programs plus state and local grants and loans.

Your roadmap determines which levels and channels you register for based on where your realistic opportunities are.
