The government buys across a very wide range of industries: catering and food distribution, cleaning, transportation, HVAC, marketing and IT services, medical supply, and much more, from federal agencies and military bases down to schools, libraries, and community colleges.
The program includes a demand-checker tool: you enter your industry or service and it gauges whether government demand is high, medium, or low, with context on how agencies buy in that category. Your mentor also researches your niche during your roadmap and strategy calls.
One important mindset shift: do not try to pitch the government on whatever you happen to sell. Agencies buy what they need, when they need it. The recommended approach is the reverse — get properly registered, see the actual RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs in your market, and bid on whatever your business is genuinely capable of delivering. Members are often surprised that their capabilities cover far more kinds of opportunities than their original niche suggests. If little exists for your exact service, look at adjacent work you can perform rather than forcing your catalog onto the government.
